Meet CORE

Who we are

CORE was born of a desire to lead a more ethical and environmentally friendly way of life. We were fed up of shopping in supermarkets only to find a lack of choice when it came to real, natural, organic foods and then coming home with heaps of unnecessary plastic packets that went straight into the bin! We wanted to create an alternative to this that would help people in our local community who have also been looking for somewhere to shop that is kinder to ourselves and our planet. At CORE everything is organic and we will only ever sell the most ethically sourced products available, at affordable prices. We also take great pride in supporting other local and independent businesses, like Mighty Roar.

Reducing waste at every corner

Something that sets CORE apart from other similar shops is that it is kitted out using almost entirely repurposed materials; from old scaffolding to unwanted pallets, and we even made our own ‘gravity dispensers’ using sustainably sourced bamboo and stainless steel! Reducing waste wherever possible is at the heart of what we do.

Truly part of the community

Upstairs at CORE, there is an ‘Honesty Kitchen’ where customers can help themselves to hot drinks and cakes and then pay what they are able to into the honesty box. This is a very important part of CORE as we want people to enjoy their experience with us and feel valued as a customer, no matter what they have in the bank! We also welcome charitable causes to hire the space on a donations basis and we also host a variety of educational workshops there. We both live in Leamington and involving our local community in what we do is so important to us.
